Uncompromising
Through speaking to friends and family, reading newsletters and scrolling social media, it’s fair to say that 2022 was a year of compromise for many of us and often compromises that felt forced upon us.
This week I’ve been reflecting on where I’ve made compromises in my own life over the past 12 months and the impact this has had on me and my core values.
My choices have felt limited, life has felt smaller, and less fulfilling and too often I’ve been operating with a scarcity mentality.
Generally, this is not how I chose to live my life so while I still need to be relatively frugal (financially), I plan to enter spring with a more abundant mindset. This means being intentional about choices that feel good without feeling guilty.
Here are a few of the simpler things I’m currently not willing to compromise on1:
